Hallo, I’m having a problem that I do not understand…

I try to embed font in combobox, I already make CustomComboBox class. But the strange thing is that in Flash IDE everything is normal, but when i try in browser..the textField in combobox just disappear. It will appear when embedFonts set to false. I have the font in my library, and the font is working.

Is there anyone who faces the same problem? I try for hours with different techniques but it ends up nothing.

I found that I could not get the code as provided to work. The drop-down text would render, but my “top-text” would never show.

I had to use “this” instead of trying to reference the “textField” property directly:

this.setStyle(’embedFonts’, true);
this.setStyle(’textFormat’, textFormat);

Instead of:

textField.setStyle(’embedFonts’, true);
textField.setStyle(’textFormat’, textFormat);

Thanx for you work around! It worked perfectly on firefox 3.6.7 and Internet Explorer 8 (so the error is not just on firefox).

Hi, sorry for contacting you in this odd way, but I’m wondering if you ever came up with a solution to the problem from this forum post:

I’m having a similar error. I’ve narrowed it down to certain controlP5 calls in the serialevent() function. It only occurs on Linux for me, works fine on XP. Anyway, if you have any advice, I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks. Was one of the first entries in google for ‘fl.controls.ComboBox cellRenderer’ and worked perfectly.
